Hi, I’m Tim Brauner, the Sr. Director of Business Development/Sales for Microwave at Knowles.

Our Sales team is focused on generating new business opportunities utilizing our technologically leading, innovative RF and Microwave products designed and manufactured by Knowles.
It’s my job to:
· Drive Sales growth through existing and new market channels by leading a team of highly driven Sales and Program Managers who are passionate about the RF/Microwave market.
· Provide a global sales strategy including managing channel partners with emphasis on design activity with the Engineering departments of the customer.
· Manage a robust Sales Forecast and Opportunity pipeline to support business initiatives and objectives.
· Provide the business organization with market feedback/data with product roadmap ideas and pricing guidance.

As a Commercial Team leader, I care about the health of our bookings and new opportunity funnel as well as driving value added growth with our products for our customers using these products. As a member of the team for over 15 yrs and having held positions in Engineering, Operations and Commercial parts of the organization, I have a unique interest in helping build demand for our niche manufacturing capabilities using our technologically driven design capabilities and industry leading dielectric materials for electronic ceramics.
I’ve enjoyed taking new products to the market and developing a customer demand for their application. This in turn has allowed me to enjoy the growth in our manufacturing personnel base at the facilities I support with manufacturing in the USA. The culture at Knowles is something special where we don’t just focus on the product technology but understand that the people of the organization, at all levels are what makes our products shine and have a solid industry reputation for High Reliability!
I started as a Ceramic Engineer in the organization and have had the opportunity to fulfill many positions throughout my career with Knowles. These experiences and my passion for supporting our team have allowed me to build relationships within our business and our customer base to support the greater good of the business and our customers and position us for even more growth.
