Saverio Roglieri

I lead the Drafting and Mechanical Design team at Knowles Precision Devices in the RF & Microwave division. We are responsible for putting together the drawing packages associated with the products that are developed by our internal design team and from our build to print product section. We are also responsible for ordering all tooling associated with the drawing package, designing RF Test and Assembly fixtures; communicating design specifications to our vendors; and assisting with equipment set ups. My role includes managing the software that the team uses and the professional development of each member on the team. 

I have been using AutoCAD since 2009 in different industries and applications. My undergraduate degree is in Chemical Engineering, but I have worked at architectural firms, design teams within in construction companies, and third-party product development teams. In 2017 I joined Knowles as a Process Engineer and was a main contributor to drawing reviews and establishing drawing standards. In 2022 I made the switch to the management track and have been working to grow the team and improve the team's efficiency by streamlining our drawing creation process. 

At Knowles the CAD team is a centralized group that contributes to every department in some way. Technical skills are at the heart of what we do, but the soft skills like communication, responsibility, ownership, and organization are the skills that will help you flourish within the team and overall company.
